I suggest trying to publish the form to a test library first - so create a test library and add columns. When promoting properties, in the publishing wizard, select the field, and then select the option "This form library", and then select the column. If that works then you can try republishing to your original library, making sure to map to the correct column.

Promoted Fields SWITCHED!!!

For whatever reason, I have two fields on my form that are dropdowns that use a SP list to populate them....... when a person uses the form, the fields populate with the correct info. When published to the SP Database list, the two fields are switched (meaning the info that is supposed to be in A is in B and vis versa). this is super weird.

IF i change the field names, I am worried that it will create two new columns which I DONT want because i have a lot of submitted data based on the info above..... is there another option?
