What I did was create separate "submit" buttons under each section of the form using the main data connection since I have it set to overwrite any previous file it almost works like a save function. This was done due to the VPN they are logging in through times out roughly ever 15 minutes by them submitting something after every section it keeps their timer running.

But now my users are getting the following error when either clicking my added submit buttons or the main submit button at the top.

"Critical Error: An error occurred submitting this form to the Web Browser. The form will now be closed. Click start over to load a new copy of this form. If the error persists contact the support team for the website. Click close to exit this message"

BUT the form does submit to SharePoint, they just have to go back into the library open the file again and then they get the error again after they submit it.

I went into the data connection and set the form to stay open after submitting, but that doesn't seem to do anything either.

I have no clue how to fix this, the only idea I have come up with some far is that because they are going through a VPN to the companies network from the client machines this could possibly be causing an issue. I cannot replicate the error on my machine but I am inside the firewall.

I should caveat this, I have no access to the SharePoint program, I can add and edit pages but that is it, I do not have Admin access to anything outside of that.

Has anyone had any experience similar to this and found a work around?

Thanks
