If that doesn't satisfy your no code requirement, then I'm afraid you're out of luck. There's no way to dynamically manipulate repeating groups without using some sort of code.

Generate a number of rows in a repeating table based on the vaule of a textbox? - No Code, please

Hi,

One of my customers is complaining from having to click on the "Add New Row" button in a repeating table many times to complete the process. For example, in a form where a user enters the details of a published material, s/he has to enter the number of parts this material includes, then enters the details of every part. Hence, in the case where a material inclides 10 parts, the users are forced to click on the button 10 times to populate the repeating table.

Is there a no-code way, using browser forms only and in IP2010 to achieve the following?

In a textbox, the user enters the number of parts this material is made of.

IP2010 generates a number of rows in the Parts Repeating Table matching the number in this box.

This would save my customer's users a lot of clicks.

Any pointers would be highly appreciated.
