Using rules and filters, the selection in the dropdown can be used to retrieve the matching record from the secondary data source. If you look up cascading dropdowns you might find quite a few tutorials on the process. I found this video which might help you:

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2010/03/04/use-rules-and-filters-to-create-cascading-dropdowns-in-forms.aspx

Good luck.

Address lookup form

Hi,

I am new to infopath and am trying to create a form that will be used for delivery notes. I have a sharepoint list with customers and address fields listed, I have created a form and can get the from to pick from a dropdown list of customers in my sharepoint list. I would like the form to populate an address field based on the customer selected from the sharepoint list.

If anyone has any ideas how this could be achieved I would really appreciate some help.
