This will happen when SharePoint will store the .xsn file under FormServerTemplates but does NOT associate an item to the file. Hence the error in the log when trying to activate the feature.

To fix this, you need to make the .xsn file ghostable in labrary by adding a type attribute to the elements.xml file, like so:

<File Url="MSOR.xsn" Name="MSOR.xsn" Type="GhostableInLibrary" />

Hope this will help someone else.

Thanks

Can't find item for formId

Hi,

I am receiving this error in SharePoint's log when trying to Activate an InfoPath Form Feature.

FeatureActivated (FeatureDefinition/eb0ce05f-19cc-9a4e-5248-db47c44abee6): Can't find item for formId:urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:TrainingApproval:-myXSD-2011-01-21T18-18-39

As a result, the form is published and present in the manage form template list, but the content type is NOT created...

Has anyone run into this? Any help would be appreciated.
