i find the reason... it`s the control "Contact Selector 1.0" which i'm using in my form.

Until this control is used on a view, no regional settings in the form are usable.
I removed this control and put it on a 2nd view, so my problem was fixed.

It seems that this is an bug in InfoPath 2007!
See the post from Yannis on
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2007/02/28/using-the-contact-selector-control.aspx?PageIndex=11

Re: formatting numbers doesn't work on browser enabled form

It's probably a SharePoint setting...Unfortunately, I don't know what setting...I've googled it, but didn't find anything...

Tell us if you solve it..

Regards,

Selarim

Re: formatting numbers doesn't work on browser enabled form

Hi Selarim,

this would be an workaround. But the customer wishes to use the comma.

I think the error causes in a setting on the SharePoint-Server. I hope i find a way to check this. I haven't administration rights on the machine

i'm creating a browser enabled InfoPath-Form and publishing it to a SharePoint-Server.

The Form contains some textfields which are formatted in currency with 1 decimal place.
On the preview in InfoPath everthing is fine. I put 1500,1 into the field and InfoPath show me 1.500,1 €.

After publishing the form to SharePoint and opening the same form in my browser (IE 7) the input changes to 15,001.0 €. It seems that "," is used as a digit grouping symbol.

Operating System is Vista (english) with regional settings for germany.
SharePoint is on a Windows Server 2003 (i think also in english with regional settings for germany)

I try different settings in InfoPath like changing the formular language to german and other languages; nothing changes the situation.

Can anyone help me, what to change that my format for numbers will also correct in browser enabled forms.
I think it will be an setting in SharePoint or in FormsService but i don't find anything...

Sorry for my bad english...
