Printing is not an elegant area for InfoPath. In particular, paging - or, breaking the form into pages - is really not handled well. Matt Faus did an interesting blog on this a couple years ago but it requires code and some funky calculations when dealing with repeaters. To limit rich text fields, I would create a Print View that limits the vertical height for them. If you can format one outer table cell to be a page and add a page break after it all subsequent cells will be on separate pages and that will allow you to add a section in the cell for header and footer. That's my advice. Inside the cell you'll have everything else you want on that one page. This obviously doesn't work well for repeating structures, but you can just create a separate view that does the printing and hardcode the table layout to have cells for each page. That's what I would do since it's relatively simple to add a print view. Moving the fields around to fit into cells that paginate as one is the tricky part.

Headers and Footers

Hello all,

I am aware that headers and footers are unavailable with InfoPath browser forms (seems strange/lazy that they're not though).

Does anyone know of a good workaround to fix this? I can't just add them manually, as there are Rich Text Fields with expandable size in the form, and this would mess it all up.

Any ideas?

Thanks
