Would anyone happen to have a code example of what Greg was talking about? I have a drop-down list I'd like to sort but can't figure out how. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The best way to accomplish what you want is to sort the list by code once its been loaded into InfoPath. Web based forms should support managed code, so you should be able to do this with C# or VB.NET.

Sort by both columns: first drop-down, then second drop-down:

A A
A B
A C
B A
B B
B C
C A
C B
C C

Then it doesn't matter what sorting the SP list has.

I've heard that a Sharepoint list's default view dictates how Infopath will sort/present the Sharepoint data. In preview mode that appears to be the case. However, after publishing and invoking from the site, the data is always sorted by ID. Is there a bug in web-enabled forms that you know of?

I have a sharepoint list that pairs an employee with their manager. This list is used to populate two dropdown lists (an employee dropdown and a manager dropdown) in a web-enabled form.
Each dropdown should be sorted according to it's contents.

How can I do this? I'm trying to stay away from coding.
