Let us know if you'd like some hands on assistance. Probably something wrong with your form, but we would have to look at it in the environment in which you published it.

Re: Use other Infopath form as secondary data source

Hi

Did you convert your secondary data connection to a UDC fornat? You'll need that for browser forms. It's easy to do in the Designer. Just go to Tools->Data Connections. Select your data connection and click Convert. Follow the steps and publish the UDC to yoru SharePoint site. Go to the Data Connections library and approve it. Publish your XSN with the converted data connection to SharePoint. Now, try to open it.

Use other Infopath form as secondary data source

Hi

I have a form where I on load wants to import some texts in rich text format. They are located in another infopath form where an administrator can edit them. That form is saved as texts.xml in a sharepoint list and I have tried to use that as a secondary data source in my main form. It works fine if I run the main form in the Infopath client but when I try to use it as a browser form the secondary data source will not load and I get an error message (see below)

The part you probably can't understand is in Swedish and just means "The form can't run the query". The main error seems to be "There are multiple root elements" but I can't understand why this only happens when I run it as a browser form.
Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:Ny-Anstallning-Pub035:-myXSD-2009-01-29T23-13-30, Type: DataAdapterException, Exception Message: Formuläret kan inte köra den aktuella frågan. There are multiple root elements.
Have anybody had the same problem?
