You'll want to start from an XML schema to allow future schema changes and not be bound to the receive schema from the Web Service (that's what limited the insertion for your current forum since InfoPath derives a read-only schema when you create from a DB - to preserve the mapping since if you just change a group to be repeating it wouldn't know how to insert into SQL). Good luck with mapping repeating nodes to your DB via the Web Service. It's some work to get the recursion working, etc. Our meta Web Service (DBXL) already does this out-of-the-box and would take you 5-10 minutes to set up for an XML-schema based IP form. Might save you some time and money down the road .... just my 2 cents.

Repeating table won't allow repeats

My repeating table won't allow users to insert or delete rows. It's connected to a table in my sql db. I'm in the process of setting up a web service to write the InfoPath data to the SQL server since the form is set up to be web compatible.
