When to create a new form based on the updated template, the browser downloads the template instead of openning a new form based on it.

So I wonder if the publish procedure is not as simple as updating the template in sharepoint, it might has something extra, isn't it?

Re: Publish template via object model

Hi SamHuang,

There is no InfoPath OM call for Publish. We have a library that automates publish to SharePoint (among other things), but we haven't made it public yet. You can just use the SharePoint OM to do this. Since saving an XSN to a Form Library is equivalent to publishing, you could just do that too. Good luck!

Publish template via object model

Hi,

I want to use a add-in in IP calling the object model to automate the publish process to sharepoint, but could not find any appropriate methods. After all, is it possible to do in this way?

Thanks!
