There is a solution to this problem in a Microsoft HotFix for the Forms Server dated march 4, 2008. It solved it all for me!

i have not checked wether this hot fix has reached the service pack level though...

PostBack Error - Unexpected End of File

I have a Infopath Form running in the browser in Sharepoint Site.

This form has a Drop Down ListBox which is loaded by a Data Connection from a Sharepoint Library. Based on a selection from this drop down listbox the repeating table underneath is populated. The Dropdown listbox has a postback to the server to populate the fields in repeating table.

Drop down list box is populated fine but the repeatable is NOT.

This runs all fine in the infopath client but NOT on the Form Services in Sharepoint. After Debugging it looks like the Drop Down List Changed event is not even called and the error is thrown before the call. The postback gets few values from another sharepoint library and puts in a repeating table

Error is below:

Unexpected end of file has occurred. The following elements are not closed: dfs:dataFields, dfs:myFields. Line 1,........

Please Help!!!!!!!!!
