Then place two drop-down boxes in the view, each bound to the same node. Set conditional formatting on each one to hide if the code is not their code. The user will only see 1 drop-down and it will be populated with the right options based on the code (because the other will be hidden).

Repeating Group and Drop Down List Problem

The schema that I am working against has a Repeating Group called ReferenceCode which includes three fields, Code, Value and Description.

I have to populate the first instance of ReferenceCode with Employee Data. Code has to be Z0 and Value Field has to be the Employee Number

The Second Instance has to hold Code C1 and the Value Field a Cost Centre Reference.

Using Tools -> Default Values, I have set the Code default to Z0 and I have used "Insert another ReferenceCode below" and set the Code default to C1 so that when the form is opened two ReferenceCode groups appear on the form.

My problem is that I want to attach a drop down list to the Value field, using a web service on a secondary datasource to bring up either Employees or Cost Centres depending on whether the Code is Z0 or C1. Being a repeating section, the same datasource is always attached to the Value Field whatver the value of Code

I have written a Web Service that brings back both sets of Values, however as I am using a Browser enabled form I cannot filter the results.

Can anyone give me any pointers as to how to sort this out.
