I am doing something similar. If users do not have Infopath it will open in the browser automatically. IPFS does this check by default.

You can add an option to the URL to force it.

http://site/_layouts/formserver.asmx?XsnLocation=http://site/FormTemplates/template.xsn&OpenIn=browser

That would typically be placed in a field that was consumed by a hyperlink control.

Open an InfoPath 2007 form from another InfoPath 2007 form in browser mode

Hi,Our users would like to be able to open an X or Y or Z Infopath form from within another form. I imagine that I can store the URL of the other forms as hyperlinks in my initial form and open the other forms by clicking on the links. The forms can have different templates. When I click in the hyperlink it wants to open the form in Infopath and my problem is that I would like to open the form in browser mode since my clients do not have Infopath installed on their machines. How can I accomplish this?I am using Managed C# code.Regards,Mario
