It is doable and really the best way to do this.

We have web services prebuilt to do this.

Send me an email and I can show you how it would work and some examples.

Using an SQL Database as primary connection in a browser enabled form

Hello InfoPath Friends ;)As is read, it is possible to build a browser enabled InfoPath form which is using a SQL database as secondary connection (to get informations out of a SQL server). Right?

What I want to do now, is to design a browser enabled form which has as primary connection a SQL Server 2005 database. Is that possible? Because I want to write informations into the database.
I can imagine that web services could be one possibility to do this. If yes, has anyone some HowTos to do that? Are there other possibilities?

Thanks for your help!
