I looked at my repeating section and repeating table. The repeating section is binded to the cascading drop downs that I am doing which are similiar to this article.

http://www.sharepoint-tips.com/2007/01/infopath-form-services-implementing.html.

However, when I click on add a new row, only the choice that I selected in the row above shows in the new row. Is there a way to make it so it refreshes and displays all of the choices in the drop downs again, but still keeps the first row choice selected above?

Thanks, Stephanie

Re: repeating table with a repeating section

Hi Stephanie.

I would look at what the source of the drop down data is. Is it coming from the repeating information? If so then a control within the repeating group would only see its parent, not the entire group be default. You may need to back up one level so that it can show all of it. Otherwsie look at an external source that context would not effect.

repeating table with a repeating section

Hello,

I have an issue where I have 3 cascading drop downs in a repeating section inside a repeating table. I am pulling the cascading drop downs out of a xml connection to a sharepoint list. When the user is filling out the form, they have two choices in each of the drop downs, they select their choice. When they click on "Insert a new row", the drop downs only contain the same information that they selected above, not the all of the choices that they have to select.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Stephanie
