I am running this on Small Business Server 2008.

The way I have uploaded the form is directly publishing to the form library on Sharepoint through MS Infopath 2007

Is there something I can (or cannot) do

If I am not mistaken, You really wanna to Open a published Infopath form outside Sharepoint Environment, Right?

Yes, You can do Open the Infopath forms inside .aspx pages.

XMLFormView is a special server control, that can display an infopath form(Published in any Location) inside .aspx pages.

You can get lots of documentation on XMLFormView control especially on MSDN .

Re: Open an Infopath webform outside Sharepoint

Thanks for your further input!

Re: Open an Infopath webform outside Sharepoint

Yes, you could paste the unique InfoPath URL from SharePoint as a link on an another page. However, the resulting submissions can still be tracked using the SharePoint library if required.

Re: Open an Infopath webform outside Sharepoint

InfoPath only works in Browser mode from within SharePoint. You cannot run it outside of SharePoint. If you want the users to not have to navigate to it via SharePoint, then just copy the link genereated from SharePoint when createing a new browser form, and then paste that into some other web page.

Open an Infopath webform outside Sharepoint

I am using the Form services buddled with Sharepoint 2007. The Infopath has been published to the Form Library successfully and everything has been working fine; however, the only way to initiate the Infopath form in a Web browser is to create a new form in a Form Library of Sharepoint. I am wondering if there is any way i could create a new instance of a Web Infopath form shown on a Web browser without using Sharepoint.
