Is this your own web service or a packaged one?

If it is a submit type then in the setup of the data connection you should be able to map data fields from your secondary source to the web service submit. You should be able to do this in the form setup. You also could use fields in your main dom and then move data from the secondary to populate the required fields in your Main within your form via rules before you submit.

Thanks for your reply. It is very helpful. but, I do not see any option to bind the connection to secondary data source. Do we have to write code to perform this. Can we do it using rules/config. Thxs

Hi,

If it is a submit connection you need to have two connections to the same web service method and for one connection you bind to main data source and for other one you can bind it to secondary data source.

If it a receive connection you can set the webservice parameter value in the code. Basically when you want to submit the main data source you will set main data source XML to the webservice parameter (through code) and you will do it same for Secondary data connection

Hi,

The infopath form is developed based on XML data source. It has a secondary XML data source and the secondary XML data is also updated when the infopath form is used. I want to know on how to submit both main and secondary XML data to web service. Any help is appreciated.
