Can someone please guide me on, how can i use infopath forms in web browser via custom ASP.NET 2.0 application without Sharepoint at backend ?

InfoPath
being in proprietary Microsoft Format, I believe, I would still require
a server to create a new instance of infopath template (.xsn file)
which it enables for browser view. Am I correct ?

Am aware of only two servers namely:

Share Point Server

Office Forms Server

which
are capable to carry out operations on .xsn file (Infopath template)
for browser view. Are there any more server which are capable of doing
something similar.

Another, requirement I have is to submit this newly created form to a database. Is writing a web service the only way to achieve this?

Thanks in advance

Cheers,

Sandeep
