If so - change the data connection to not run on load. Then, for testing, put the query and data fields on the form, along with a button that executes the query. Also, put a calculated value on the form that shows the userName() function. Then you can test in the browser - I'd think that you'd want a form load rule that sets the query field to the userName() function, then runs the query - but if your environment in the browser adds a claims prefix, you may need to substring-after that off. Putting the query and data fields on the form, along with a button that runs the query allows you to experiment in the browser and makes troubleshooting faster.

Get Current UserName in Infopath always returns the secure store service credential name

Hello,

I am working with InfoPath web forms and created a getUserProfileByName data connection using soap services, It works well when I preview the form but I'm getting it all wrong in web forms. It returns the secure store service credential name(tuSP15Peu_sys) in place of 'PreferredName'. Is there any solutions to make it work in web forms?
