Infopath Form Inconsistency Between Browsers

I have a form that talks to a SharePoint list

I see some problems with a multi-line text entry box.

In IE, the text box will auto wrap and autosize. the more text you put in, it will wrap the text, and the box will expand for more text.

In Chrome, it will not autosize the box, and the text does not wrap as you fill the first line.

Second problem, a button on the bottom of the form doesn't seem to appear the same between browsers.... on Chrome for PC and IE, the button has the standard grey fill, and the font appears to be what I set it as. On chrome for Mac, there isn't a fill, and the text sizing is different. On FireFox for mac, the text and button size look right, but again, the grey fill isn't there.
