As a work around, the GetAttachmentAttribute command can be used to get back the filename, and then the /namexpath parameter can be used in SubmitToSharePointList to submit a name without special characters. I'm going to add a bug to our bug database for addressing this in a future release, so that the form designer won't have to handle for this.

Re: Submit to Sharepoint List - AddAttachment Consistency issue

Can I see the form? It works fine for me. It was working fine for the tester, but then for some unknown reason, the data will write to the list but the attachments rarely do (2 did out of about 15 tries). Nothing in security has changed. We even tried it where she logged into SharePoint with my credentials, and the attachment would not go. We thought it could be a browser thing (she had IE8, I have IE 11). She has upgraded to IE 9 and still doesn't work. We had another person in her same office try a couple of times and hers worked fine (I think she has IE11), (but we didn't have her run the form and submit lots of times like the tester has). Does anyone know of anything this could be? Here are some details about the form (although I don't think it's related to the form).

qRules 6.1, SharePoint 2010

There are 3 maps that run and submit data to 3 different lists (the attachments only go to one list)

The attachment is a field in a repeating table. So, only one attachment per line item (one per list item when pushed), but the form can have up to 5 lines in the repeating table.

Total attachment size is limited to 8mb (total of all attachments) - however she has issue even when only submitting 1, 15kb attachment.

It will sporadically let her attachment write to the list (so it's not consistent). She's tried jpg, doc, docx, etc... doesn't seem to have a preference of file type on when it does/doesn't work.

There is no workflow on the list that that attachment writes to.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Gwen
