I have connected to the appropriate table. I have two text fields on the form i.e. Username and Password.

I would like to check if the data which is entered in these fields matches the data in the database once the submit button is clicked. If it does then it takes the user to a different view i.e allows them to access the next page.

E.g. the database contains 2 columns Username and Password. - Record 1 Username = test1, Password = 1234, Record 2 Username = test2, Password - 3456

If a user enters both matching username and password from the database then this takes the user to another view however if they do not match then user is presented with an invalid log in error message.

Any advise on how I could achieve this will really be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
