The condition is only going to check the first instance, and all instances will be set.

So - your options are:

qRules has a SetValue command that be can be used for this kind of filtering

http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/hilary/archive/2009/06/07/hack-manifest-xsf-to-filter-the-target-of-a-rule.aspx has a manifest work around

You could add another helper field to your repeating group and set it to "1", for example, then on that field have a rule with a condition to set the trigger field (you would want to then set the helper field back to 0 or blank so it was ready to go the next time)

Condition on Repeating Table Elements

Hello,

I have a repeating table with a column "trigger".
When I click submit, I want to change the triggers only where it equals some value.

Specifically, if trigger=0 set that trigger (and only that trigger) to 1. So, I made an action rule on the submit button with:

Condition: trigger = 0
Set a fields value: trigger = 1.

The problem is that if any trigger in the repeating table = 0 it sets them all to 1.
I only want to change the triggers that are 0, not all of them.

Can anyone assist me?
