With REST you can specify sort order on multiple columns. Here's a quick video that will help you get started with REST queries: http://channel9.msdn.com/Blogs/donovanf/InfoPath-2010-and-Creating-a-Form-that-Consumes-a-REST-enabled-WCF-Service

Sorting multiple columns

Hi ,

I have a repeating table with

Stock Category dropdown
Stock Description dropdown
Part Number read only text box

all pulling data from a Sharepoint List

What I want to happen is Stock Category sorted alphabetically, then when this is selected the relevant stock Item Description is displayed alphabetically. Then when a Stock Description is selected the part number is selected.

I can get this to work except I can only see how to sort one field. I understand if you set the sort on the default view on the sharepoint list then any fields should be sorted the same in infopath. This doesnt seem to be the case. I can see when you set up a secondary data source you can specify a field to sort on which does work .

So how can I sort two drop down fields based on fields from a sharepoint list ?

Appreciate any help !

Thanks
