I started looking into code to do this, and I figured out how to set the Right Fax as the default 'printer' for tthe form and generate the print dialog, but not how to populate the necessary variables such as fax #.

WHEELS

Re: InfoPath 2007 issue with RightFax need to automate print to RightFax printer

Thank you Patrick.
qRules as a Print command. You could install the free trial from Qdabra.com and hook it up. No coding needed but the form will have to be full trust to print programmatically.

Another solution might be to use a SendAsPDF HTML Web service or eFax which I believe has web services. qRules will let you render a view as HTML and you could send that to an eFax Web service and just maybe that would work. Worth a try!

Let us know if you need help. We have support staff available tomorrow.

When the form is 'printed manually' (File --> Print --> RightFax Fax Printer --> OK --> the MS Office 2007 Fax Information properties appear --> on the Main tab in the To section you enter the Fax # (e.g. 555-555-5555)--> Click Send), it displays correctly in the imaging system with all the data intact.

In that data connection when I replace the [Fax:Someone@5555555555] with Someone@5555555555 or 555-555-5555, the email address cannot be resolved and it errors out.

I know C#, and I was wondering if anyone know how to automate the 'manual' process I outlined above? I have done some with XDocument before, but I don't know enough on automating the File --> Print and setting the varibles (Printer, Fax #, etc.) dynamically. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to send this JScript up:

function CTRL1_5::OnClick(eventObj)

{
	// Write your code here
	XDocument.PrintOut() ; // Print the Document

}

This will display the Print dialog box. All I need to do is figure how to set those variables dynamically, and trigger the Send.

WHEELS
