Is a date field on the form published to a library as a date or a single line of text. You might have to create some calculated columns in SP to make reporting even easier and faster.

Depending on the complexity of what you want, you might want to look at a BI SP site type.

How do you export sharepoint forms data to excel

Little by little I an figuring it out. So I have successfully published a template to our sharepoint site. Now, after the users fill out the forms, I have to built reports on the data. How do I get access to the data.

I would like to get the raw data into excel and then probably import to a database to join to our other information. How would I create a excel file of the forms that are saved to the SharePoint site?

A lot of my fields are questions with option buttons and the repeating tables containing a product name and most likely option buttons. Thanks for any help.
