You want all your rules validated correctly before you have an action to submit your form.

Add dummy fields so that you can see what the form sees (delete when done). Also check your permissions on your Sharepoint library. Are the same people testing your form using InfoPath, then the browser.

An Error Occurred While The Form Was Being Submitted

Hi all,

Hopefully an easy one, here, as I'm very new to InfoPath (and SharePoint). I've created a form in InfoPath 2007 and published it to a SharePoint Library. I can access the form and fill out all of the fields correctly, however when I go to submit, I receive the error "An Error Occurred While The Form Was Being Submitted", no more and no less.

When I fill out the form in the InfoPath client, I receive no errors and it indeed posts directly to the Library and works correctly, however this form will be used by a number of colleagues who don't have InfoPath installed on their computers. The error occurs only in browsers, tested both in Google Chrome and IE8. I have tried changing the file savename in the Submit Data connection, and again it works in the InfoPath client, but not in any browsers.

I hope this comes down to an easy fix and someone can help me out, I'd very much appreciate it. If any more information is required, please let me know and I'll do my best!
