MSLB will put multiple selections on a line which is hard to parse.

I would recommend ditching the MSLB and using a repeating section with a dropdown in place of it.

Then, you can just point your second dropdown at the main data source and it will list the software titles that were chosen in the dropdowns in the repeating section.

Hopefully this makes some sense. If not, please email me. I can show you an example in an online meeting.

InfoPath Multiple-Selection listbox Error: Only positive itegers allowed

I have searched this site for the past few days and cannot find a solution to my particular scenario. I have a form that uses a multiple selection list box to
populate a lookup-column (pulls info from a secondary data source). The secondary data source is a SP list with only
one column (i.e., Software titles). I
want the user to be able to make multiple selections and those selections be
placed/stored in a list box below the MSLB.
I have accomplished this to some small degree. The items that show up in the selected list
box show the ID instead of the software title. (see below) I do understand that SP retrieves the ID and
the item when using look-up columns and only displays the title as a ‘user-friendly'
act.

Take a look at the attached illustrations of the windows where I configured the MSLB properties and the LB properties

Is there a workaround for this? I’m new at this and need detailed
instructions. Thanks!!!
