The method you are describing is called cascading dropdowns, can be achieved without code and there are tutorials online to guide you thru the steps. Most tutorials will focus on 2 dropdowns, but in your scenario it will be a cascade of 4 instead. A quick Google search on cascading dropdowns will provide you some tutorials. Good luck!

Creating Complex SharePoint Forms w/ Infopath

Hello,

I'm new to Infopath. I'm looking to create a complex SharePoint 2010 form(s)

I have an Excel Matrix of 50 rows, in this format (5 row sample):

1) I want an initial form where the user selects their Platform and User Type form 2 drop-down Menus.
2) They then are taken to a new drop-down Menu, where they select their problem, based on their previous selections. Not all Problems will exist for every Platform+User Type combination.
3) They are then directed to either a Text screen with Instructions, or an Email Form to fill out that is directed to a mailbox - again, based on their Problem selection.

Is this possible using Infopath? Or would I need to use custom coding to accomplish this?

Thanks...
