You'd like to add a default value to your Date field instead - set it to today(). If you right-click on your repeating table and select Repeating Table Properties > Edit Default Values, you'll see two radio-buttons - select the option "Only to the data rows the user inserts".

The next time you open your form and you add another row, it should auto-populate that row's Date field with the date you're re-opening the form.

I hope that makes sense - please let me know if you need more info.

Dated field that automatically updates the date, on a second line

Hello,

I cannot seem to find how to do this:

I have a field " Status", the first portion of it automatically provides today's date as the form is opened. Then I submit it. Next week I reopen the same form and I want it to display today's date underneath the previous entry. How do I do that?

Eg: 1-16-2013 I am writing this

      1-22-2013 I am updating this.

I do want to be able to modify or delete the previos entry if needed.

Thanks for your help in advance.
