:(

Re: How to read MultiLink Rich Text From Sharepoint To InfoPath 2007

That's why I was asking if just displaying the rich text would be adequate for your needs - otherwise you'll need code or qRules to copy the rich text from your SharePoint data source into your InfoPath form data source.

As to the second part of your question, if you search for cascading dropdown on this forum or in a search engine online you should find some good information - here's one example. Basically, if your module is a dropdown control, you can add a filter to it to only show the modules for the selected brand. If this is a browser form for SharePoint 2007, however, you can't use filters on the dropdown - here's an example of another approach.

Re: How to read MultiLink Rich Text From Sharepoint To InfoPath 2007

Thanks for your reply
My question is consider of two parts

First
I have a rich text multiline feild in sharepoint, and also have a rich text box in infopath form
But I did not find a way to display what in the rich text in sharepoint info the infopath rich text.

Secound
In sharepoint I custom list, this list includes
Brand......module...... Details

Lets saythe this table contain the following data
Dell....r710..... Good server
Hp.....ml110.... Cheape server

In infopath there is 2 combo boxed linked with brand and module
If the user select from the brand list dell, I want the brand value to automatically filled with r710 as its typed in sharepoint list

I hope you understand my question

Thanks alot

Re: How to read MultiLink Rich Text From Sharepoint To InfoPath 2007

Hi & welcome - do you actually need the rich text copied into your main data source, or would it be enough to simply display it on the form after the user selects the Brand? If all you need is to display it, you could use conditional formatting to hide the RT box unless the brand in the secondary data source matched the selected brand, for example. I know with ShP 2010 / IP 2010 if we have a data connection to a list with a RT field, IP will display the RT correctly - where it gets tricky is if you need to copy it into the main data source.

How to read MultiLink Rich Text From Sharepoint To InfoPath 2007

Thanks for reading
