Just create a data connection to retrieve data from the InfoPath Designer and give it the URL for the list but don't query on load. When they select the time slot, add a rule with two actions: set the query field and then query the data connection. Bind the dropdown to the data source that s returned. Should be straightforward.

Good luck!

InfoPath 2010 form to query SharePoint list for open rooms for given time slot

I have created a booking request form that submits the form to a SharePoint list and all of that works. What I need no to implement is when a user selects a time slot the next step is to query that SharePoint list and populate a list of available rooms for that open time slot.
Example I pick November 14 10:00AM to 11:00AM then query the same SharePoint list for rooms available at that time and display in a drop down so a user can choose that open room.
I appreciate any assistance.
