Thanks for the reply, but the link is more about the number of calculations that InfoPath can do without resorting to code rather than the number of rows of data that it can show in a repeating table, which is what I'm concerned about.

Not sure if this is related, and sorry for off-topic, but I liked the phrase:

" in InfoPath 16 is a very big number and 17 is considered infinite"

Hi Everybody,

This is my first post to this forum and I'm a complete noob with InfoPath so please be patient with me.

I have created an InfoPath form template to view edit and creat recods in an existing access data base at my work. The form is designed to alow all employees on site to query the database an display a list of records filtered according to their query, along with editing and creating individual records.

It all works fine unless I use query peramiters that will produce a large list of records to display (greater than about 20 records). At this point I get a message saying "The query returned large amounts of data and rendering your form may take some time. Do you want to continue?"

After clicking Yes, I get the following message "The form cannot be filled out because of an error in the form's design. To fix this problem contact the form's designer" and the form doesn't return the filtered list of records.

It appears as if there is a limit to the number of records that can be returned to the form. Is this correct?

Is there any way to resolve this error and still display the full list of records?
