In the email, include a link to the form library.

Promote a column in the SharePoint form library with the status. When the user visits the form library, the status column will clearly show which items are pending approval. Basically, you want to get the users accustomed to do their work in the form library and not via email. It will take some getting used to, but it's the easiest option.

I don't believe that you can include a link in the email that will resubmit the form to SharePoint whilst changing the status.

Infopath approval email

Good Afternoon I am using Infopath 2010 to develop a time sheet form for Sharepoint. At the bottom I two buttons, one saves the file to a share point library. the other is an email submit and it sends the form to my email(it will be the managers in the future). The email shows the form successfully but I want the email to do two things.

1. incorporate a authorise/reject button which will allow the user to authorise and reject within the email

2. incorporate a link(hyper-link) that will take the user page on share point where they can authorise and reject. Similar to the image below

how do I get around to doing this because I have been told we can't use Sharepoint designer as our website we are developing was created online using a development server. is there any way to create a authorise reject web part, web service or workflow using visual studio 2010 and combining it with my form on Infopath please. I really need help on this ASAP please.

the attachment below is an image of what I want my form to do.
