We currently have a paper form that we'd like to put into SharePoint.

Currently a user fills out the form and then sends it to an internal department. This department then faxes the form over to a 3rd party and files the form away.

What I'd like to happen is for the user to fill out a form online, this to then be saved in a SharePoint library and emailed to the 3rd party. I've created the form, but this saves as an XML document, but I need to send either a doc or pdf to the 3rd party.

Just one last thing, I need to be able to do this with OOTB SharePoint functionallity. I'm not looking for someone to give me step by step instructions, just some pointers on the best way to do it.

Thanks
