For picture buttons thats easy because there is UI in the designer to allow you to pick the picture from the resource list. For regular pictures thats a little more difficult. You'd have to add the file as a resource and the export the source files to hand modify the xsl views to use the resource file. A little bit of a pain to do so. Would definitely recommend backing up your form before you try this approach.

Custom Navigation Section

I have 10 views on my InfoPath form.

To navigate the views, I have 10 buttons lined up pretty on the left for navigation (+2 for printing to PDF and submitting to Sharepoint).

So by the time I create these 12 buttons on 10 pages, I've created 120 buttons! With the exact same rules/code! there has to be an easier way; I thought template parts would be the answer but it is not specific to a given form so would not switch my views.

How would I create a navigation section that shows the same buttons on every page?

AND what about pictures? I have a company logo on top of the navigation, times 10 views, = 10 images stored in the .xsn? There has to be a way I can boil this down to one image, one set of buttons that displays on all pages...
