I'm attaching a simple sample - download it, then right click the saved file and select design to open in design mode. From there, you can preveiw, and select an option from the drop down control, and it will set a value in the text box.

If Statement based off of a dropdown

Hey everybody,

New to InfoPath (working on 2010), and I was suprised to find that there doesn't seem to be if logic functionality built into the tool. I was looking for a little help, here are the details of my dilemma:

I have a form that contains a dropdown (Team) for example purposes let's say the values are:

a - I want this value to equal 12

b - I want this value to equal 823

c - I want this value to equal 12

d - I want this value to equal 60

e - I want this value to equal 823

f - I want this value to equal 823

I have added a text field on my form, and what I would like to do is when someone select "a" from the team dropdown, populate "12" in that text field, if "b" is selected populate "823" and so on.

I cannot seem to figure this out, any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
