Hello Hilary,

The InfoPath I have indeed, doesn't offer the option to create form templates, not even when I click "File...".

I'll try repairing it and see how it goes.

And one more - can you select Design a Form Template from the File menu?

I'm sorry, I hadn't looked closely enough at your screenshots. I'd definitely try repairing InfoPath - I've never seen a Getting Started screen like that before. I'm attaching my version info.

I'm trying to start a form template from scratch, but the "Getting Started..." window doesn't offer the option to create a form template.

Are you trying to launch InfoPath 2007 from the start menu or are you trying to open a form in InfoPath?

I'm new to InfoPath, and I'm trying to build a form template so I can use it in SharePoint 2007.

Currently, I'm using InfoPath 2007.
