My company has room resources that we manage through an Outlook 2010 shared calendar. Currently these calendars are locked requiring employees to go through a middleman in order to book a calendar slot. We experimented with having the calendar open, but unforutnatley everyone had trouble playing nice. So we moved to a 2010 infopath form that a middleman has to approve and then create the calendar entry himself.

When submitted, we are looking to have this infopath form create an outlook appointment to the shared calendar. This appointment would then be approved by the calendar owner (the middleman).

Is this scope even possible?

If so, how difficult would this be? Are there any tutorials out there that specifically address this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

[TRANSLATION OF THE ABOVE TEXT]

I am that middleman drowning in a monotonous cycle of goo, knowing fully well that here must be better way! Help a brotha out?
