If it has not, then ask it here or the appropriate topic forum.enCommunityServer 2007 SP3 (Build: 31118.962)https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/76555.aspxFri, 16 Mar 2012 18:46:40 GMT033a2e2d-04e2-4a9d-be01-a4634161eefd:76555asariel0https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/76555.aspxhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=39&PostID=76555<p>I have an Infopath 2010 web based form published to a Sharepoint 2010 site.&nbsp; When a user submits or edits a form through the site,&nbsp; I have it set to submit the data to a Sharepoint list, and also to email the form as an attachment to a particular address.&nbsp; All works well, until a user gets the form in their email and try to edit it.&nbsp; After editing, they click submit and get the following error message:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&quot;The form cannot be submitted because of an error.</p><p>InfoPath cannot submit the form.</p><p>Some rules were not applied</p><p>Infopath cannot submit the form.</p><p>An error occured while the form was being submitted</p><p>The form does not contain any new data to submit to the data source&quot;.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Any suggestions? &nbsp;</p><p>The only rules I have in the Infopath is to&nbsp; check that one field isn&#39;t blank if another field was set to &quot;Other&quot;, and then the rule to submit the form to both sharepoint and email.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Thank you in advance; my boss put this on me with a virtually impossible deadline and I&#39;m trying to at least make *some* progress to show him.&nbsp; Keep your fingers crossed :) <br /></p>
