I have experience with db design, some experience with VB, and dabble in html and am hoping that will help.

I work in procurement, and would love to set up an internal ecommerce type order system (without the whole payment processing) in sharepoint. Meaning, like a website, they could browse the site categories and add product to an order, and when completed it would go to their approver then on to our warehouse for shipping and so on. I have databases set up with our product, images, prices, vendors and item numbers, and would prefer the information was populated on the order forms by what would be a familiar website product selection format.

I know I could create the actual forms and workflow with Infopath, but could I create website type "product pages" that fill out the order forms in infopath... or am I looking in the wrong program? Any recommendations on where to start on this process would be truly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
