Thanks again.

Re: Will disabled fields still submit?

Hi Jakester,

Since it's still checked, the field corresponding to that check box is going to populate. You'd need to find a way to "clear" the sub check boxes once the main is unchecked. For example, you can add a rule in check box A to set 1 = "" (that is two double quotes, to clear it) and put a condition where A = "0". That is, if "0" is the value you're using when the check box is cleared.

Will disabled fields still submit?

I have a browser enabled form that submits data to a SharePoint library. On this form are checkbox fields using conditional formatting to enable/disable them. The setup is that I have Main Product checkboxes A, B, C, and D. I also have Sub Product checkboxes, 1, 2, 3, and 4. If Product A is selected, Sub Products 1 and 3 are enabled. If Product B is selected, Sub Products 2 and 4 are enabled, and so on. The problem is this. I check Product A, Sub Products 1 and 3 become enabled and I select them. Now I change my mind and uncheck Product A. Sub Products 1 and 3 are now disabled but still checked. My question is, will the values in Sub Product checkbox fields 1 and 3 populate their associated fields in the SharePoint library when I submit the form? I realize this is easy to test but I'd have to publish the form to do that and I'm not ready to do that at this time. Thanks.
