Simply create a rule on field1 with the condition:

The expression - /my:myFields/my:parentGroup/my:Field1 + (12 * /my:myFields/my:otherParentGroup/my:Field2) < 100

(naturally, the bold parts would need to be modified to match the actual path of those fields in your form)

Action: Set [select field3 using the dialog] to the value: 5

Hi,

Appreciate that this MAY be answered elsewhere in the forum, but I've spent a good while searching with no joy.

I have a form where I need to make a calculation based on the content entered into 2 fields, and compare the result to a given constant, ie:

If Field1 + (12*Field2) < 100, then assign the Value '5' to field3.

I'm not sure how I can combine a calculation ( If Field1 + (12*field2) ) with the comparison (< 100) and then apply a constant to the 3rd field.

Hope this makes sense, and that someone can help!
