If it has not, then ask it here or the appropriate topic forum.enCommunityServer 2007 SP3 (Build: 31118.962)https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/73544.aspxThu, 05 Jan 2012 23:04:13 GMT033a2e2d-04e2-4a9d-be01-a4634161eefd:73544conhill0https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/73544.aspxhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=39&PostID=73544<p>A solution to this has eluded me sofar despite much searching.</p> <p>Requirement<br />A workflow&nbsp;used to obtain approval when a new Infopath form is submitted.&nbsp; Rather than email the requester with the outcome of the approval I want to create a simple task&nbsp;for them to acknowledge.<br /><br />Example:<br />- Leave Request Form is submitted.<br />- Workflow uses &#39;Start Approval&#39;&nbsp;sent to Manager to Approve/Reject and make&nbsp;comments.&nbsp; This completes the main Approval process.<br />- A new task then created for the original requester to see the outcome and acknowledge<br /><br />Problem:<br />- How to&nbsp;make the&nbsp;Comments or&nbsp;ConsolidatedComments that were collected in the main approval task visible to second, acknowledgement task.</p> <p>I&#39;ve tried to use Workflow variables to store the comments during the approval part of the workflow but cannot access thes from the acknowledgment task (created using &#39;Assign To-Do Task&#39;).</p> <p>&nbsp;Any guidance will be gratefully received.</p>
