I already have Office 2010 Pro installed. Am just looking for an InfoPath trial -- I guess such a thing isn't available. Adobe has an Acrobat X Standard trial - maybe I'll give that a go ...

Re: Basic Newbie Questions

1. It appears that a 60-day trial of Office Professional Plus is available here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/ee390818

2. DBXL is another product that will allow users to fill out and store completed forms, and provides a slew of features for processing and querying data from them. The InfoPath analog to Acrobat Reader is InfoPath Filler, but I don't believe it is available separately from InfoPath Reader. The alternative is to use SharePoint, which allows filling out InfoPath forms in a browser (with some features disabled).

3. I don't know of any OneNote integration in InfoPath.

4. The InfoPath client provides two controls for this - the Picture control, which allows users to attach an image and have it displayed in the form, and the Attachment control, which allows users to attach any kind of file.

Basic Newbie Questions

Some very basic questions here:

1. Is there any kind of trial program for InfoPath 2010?
2. I want to create a form which will be disseminated to others who can fill out and store multiple completed forms. Is SharePoint a requisite for this type of application? Will the recipients need to install something akin to Acrobat Reader in order to process the form?
3. I will also be filling out multiples of the form. I want to store each completed form as a separate OneNote page - does InfoPath have a "Send to OneNote" facility?
4. It would be nice (but not a requirement) if the form user could include a variable number of images on the form - is this a capability of any of the InfoPath controls?

Thanks!
