"you can add as many different data connections as you want and use them at different times so that is not a problem. "

Re: How do I submit individual views?

As I said very clearly in my previous post: Views do not have their own submit options and they do not have their own data connections. Nothing is "cascading" because the submit options and data connections belong to the form template, not the views.

However, you can add as many different data connections as you want and use them at different times so that is not a problem. And to repeat what I just said, my suggestion was to not use the submit options, and create buttons with rules that carry out the submit using the rules.

Re: How do I submit individual views?

No you can't.

When you set the submit options for one view it gets carried across to all your other views. Similarly when you set a data connection in one view it cascades to all other views.

Re: How do I submit individual views?

Hilary Stoupa already answered this question when you answered it here:

http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/20167/69921.aspx#69921

Data connections, submit options, etc. belong to the template, not the individual views. If you want to have different submit behaviors for different views, you can turn off the submit options, put buttons in each view, and use rules on these buttons to give them view-specific submit behavior.

How do I submit individual views?

I cannot submit individual views - it always submits the default one.

One view gets called from the default view. When I click submit it always submits the default one

With a view, in the form submit options, when you turn off the submit it sets this for all views. Is it possible to set it for the view you are currently setting only?
