Microsoft has articles on User Roles and that's another option. I don't think you can apply conditional formatting based on the email address, unfortunately.

Re: InfoPath 2007 Approve/ Reject Buttons

Hello ErnestoM

Actually, I am not using User Roles over here. I am just putting email address of the person in To as well as in Cc. So I want the buttons to be visible to only the person in To

Thanks in Advance

Vihang

Re: InfoPath 2007 Approve/ Reject Buttons

The first step is to check whether the buttons contain the correct conditional formatting. The next thought is to check whether the User Roles (I'm assuming you are using user roles in the form) are set up correctly. This involves some troubleshooting because you'll have to test the form as various users and make sure the user roles are in the correct order (yes, order matters). There are plenty of articles on User Roles that might help you to set it up, but if there is an issue, it's a matter of troubleshooting your form under various scenarios to find the issue or issues. Sorry there's no simple solution; it's going to require troubleshooting your own form.

Good luck!

InfoPath 2007 Approve/ Reject Buttons

Hi friends

I am new for Infopath 2007, I am Submitting the form to approver.

Here are 2 issues

1) When the person in cc opens form, he can see the Approve/Reject buttons.... This is not expected because buttons should be visible only for Approver

2)When Approver approve the request then buttons are again available so that he can Approve/Reject the form again... This is also not expected because once he approves the request, buttons should be remove or hidden

Please let me know the solution.
