Try following it through, then read through this article on using XPathNavigator.

Newbie question: Visual Basic code to get started

Hi all,

I'd like to get started doing some coding using Visual Basic for a form I am building. I think the easiest way is via an ON_CLICK method.

Can someone give me some basic code that will:

1) When a button is pressed (LASTNAME BUTTON), read the contents of the LASTNAME TEXTBOX and simply display this in a msgbox. Another suggesstion would be to place the lastname in a new textbox called NEWLASTNAME TEXTBOX

HELP!

Derek
