What I tried in order is as follows:

1. I did a repair on Office 2007 as a whole, that didn't work.

2. I uninstalled InfoPath then reinstalled it, that didn't work.

I guess the only thing left to try is to uninstall the whole Office 2007 suite, which I find odd and likely that it still won't work...but if you agree...I'll try it.

I also noticed that when I reply to an e-mail that has a InfoPath form attached and I get the error message that I submitted, when I go back into Outlook the "Enable InfoPath E-Mail Forms" option is disabled again...it does this on it's own.

Re: InfoPath and Outlook 2007: E-mail Forms Problem

The error message suggests there may be an issue with your InfoPath install. Have you tried following the steps in the error message? Disable "Enable InfoPath E-Mail Forms". Repair your InfoPath install. Then try re-enabling....If you've already done that, you may actually want to try reinstalling InfoPath....

InfoPath and Outlook 2007: E-mail Forms Problem

Ok, our company uses Outlook 2007 and InfoPath 2007. I have both installed on my workstation and within Outlook --> Tools --> Options --> Other --> Advanced Options I have the "Enable InfoPath E-Mail Forms" enabled.

When I go to a shared network resource where we keep our template .xsn file and open it, it opens in InfoPath 2007. I fill it out and then I choose the option "File --> Send to Mail Recipient" and a message opens up in Outlook.

The problem is that when I'm wanting to send this to a recipient, I want the form to show up within the body of the message not as an attachment .xml file. via the attachment box.

Other users receive it via the body of an e-mail and can edit and save the form directly from the e-mail message body of Outlook and this is how the process works and I want it to work for me in the same way.

Can anyone help me resolve this or point me in the right direction?

Any help is greatly appreciated...thanks!
